The frame of the chair is one continuous loop of 19mm stainless steel tube bent through different angles of around a fixed radius. The seat and back of the chair are simple sleeves of fabric which slide over the steel armature to create the chair. The steel structure is composed of four individual segments which slot together to form the chair shape. Canvas slings are stretched between the frame to create the seat and back. The spring of the steel frame is used to hold these slings in tension, and give the chair its comfort.
