Paris Photo book stand
Plywood display & vitrines for Woodfinch Rare Books, November 2009
In collaboration with Markus Bergström
Commission to design & fabricate a demountable exhibition stand for the annual Paris Photo book fair held at the Carrousel du Louvre.
The stand incorporates display shelving, a desk & lecturn style display / browsing surface, storage, & seating for both staff & visitors. Felt lined boxes mounted on the wall surfaces give extra depth to allow books to be stacked with their spines on display, whilst boxes with sliding glass doors give protection to more delicate & valuable pieces.
